Commander's Mansion, Watertown, MA
Joy and Kiel had an extremely personal and romantic wedding, keeping things simple and beautiful in every part of the day, all while staying relaxed and really fun. I loved all the little details. The favours, the bridal party gifts, the greenery, the lace on Joy's dress. The ceremony and formal photos were held on the grounds in perfect weather for the first day of September. The bride and groom couldn't stop staring at each other, making shooting these pictures a breeze. After cocktail hour inside the mansion, guests were invited to the reception tent where they heard excellent speeches, watched heartwarming dances, and then tore it up on the dance floor! Just like the mix of wedding cake and doughnut dessert, this wedding was modest and sweet, yet unexpected and delicious. Check out some of my favourite images below:
